How to Remove Emoji Stickers from Escape Room Group Photos

Keep the team still from the exit door, strip chat stickers and reaction stamps, then post clean wins for Instagram and Google.

The win shot still has a laughing stack

Guests share the exit-door photo on Instagram, TikTok, and the booking page. A laughing stack, a flame stamp, or a chat reaction over a face loses that share. Your host tablet often saves a stickered preview from the group chat before anyone asks for the clean file. The job is to strip emoji and reaction stickers from the still you own — not to invent a second prop, not to paste a Hollywood set you do not run, and not to tour every cleanup tool. Wedding photobooth stamps and Depop try-on stickers are different channels; this page is an escape-room exit still.

Brush the stickers; leave the door

Upload the sharpest exit still. Run emoji removal on floating reactions, chat bubbles, and soft stamps on sleeves or the timer board. Zoom to 100% on faces, hands, and the room number plaque. You want skin grain and wood texture, not a blurred oval where a fire emoji sat. Do not brush the brand logo on the wall if you need it for Google. Do not invent a "escaped in 42:00" banner in the pixels — letter times in your layout tool. If a soft supplier watermark sits under a sticker, clear stickers first, then one watermark pass.

Square grid versus Google cover

Instagram favors square and 4:5. Google Business covers are wider. Export both from the same cleaned still. Uploads here accept JPG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF up to 10MB and 6000×6000 px. A 2400 px JPEG under 4MB typically returns in under 60 seconds. Export at least 1080 px on the short edge. Skip motion-blurred hallway dashes. Skip 400 px screenshots of another venue's Instagram.

Consent and what guests will recognize

Only post groups that cleared marketing, or crop so minors and uninvolved players are not identifiable. Clearing a sticker is presentation. Publishing a full name on a badge without consent is a different problem — keep names off the hero or letter them in a tool you can redact. Keep the room as shot; cleanup is for chat junk, not for selling a set piece you do not have. Name files `room-vault-team-a-clean.jpg` versus `room-vault-team-a-as-shot.jpg`.

Batching after a Saturday surge

Same door light, same field of view, exports named by room and booking slot. Five win stills after close, not fifty. A second auto pass will not invent a sharp smile. Relight and reshoot when the group is in deep shadow. Vinyl sleeve marks and piano recital type are different jobs; keep this pass on stickers.

When the weekend bookings open and the best win still shows a laughing stack on a forehead, strip the stickers, keep the room honest, and publish a square guests will actually share.
