Tattoo Healed Photos: Clear Preview Marks Before the Grid Goes Live

Strip contractor or flash-sheet preview stamps from healed work you own. Keep the linework honest — this is a mark pass, not a new tattoo.

The grid still shows last month's studio bug

Instagram, the shop site, and a booking form all stall when the only healed still of a sleeve carries a guest artist's PREVIEW ribbon or a flash-sheet corner mark from the file they emailed. Reopening the RAW is ideal. Reality is a flattened JPEG in Drive while Saturday's walk-ins need a clean grid. The job is to erase a mark on work you tattooed or that a guest licensed you to post — not to invent extra linework, not to lift another shop's chrome, and not to tour every cleanup tool. Barber fade isolation is a different clutter problem; this page is a watermark on skin.

Paint the stamp; keep the skin grain

Upload the licensed still to watermark removal. Brush only the logo-shaped or semi-transparent overlay — guest bugs, flash PDF stamps, ArtStation-style export badges. Zoom to 100% on healed skin and black. You want the original grain, not a plastic patch where a ribbon sat. Do not brush the tattoo. Do not reconstruct a sharper line than you laid. If a typed date or "HEALED 6WK" is lettering rather than a mark, that is a text pass after the stamp — one routing sentence, then back to the bug. Mixing type and logo in one stroke is why a forearm still shows a yellow smear.

Square grid versus booking covers

The profile grid is a square crop. A tall Story still will lose the elbow or the wrap. Compose with the piece inside a 1:1 safe area, or export a square after the mark is gone. Booksy and Google tiles are small; do not stretch. Uploads here accept JPG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF up to 10MB and 6000×6000 px. A 2400 px JPEG under 4MB typically returns in under 60 seconds. Export at least 1080 px on the short edge so zoom holds on mobile.

Consent and line honesty

Only post clients who cleared marketing, or crop so the face is not in frame if they said tattoo-only. Guest flash you did not tattoo is not your grid unless the contract says so. Do not reconstruct a missing petal to match a quote the client did not sit for. Keep color as shot; cleanup is for stamps, not for selling a palette you did not use. Name files `sleeve-healed-clean.jpg` versus `sleeve-healed-as-shot.jpg` so a complaint has an original.

When reconstruction is the wrong tool

Skip the pass when the mark covers most of the piece or sits on heavy JPEG blocking — those frames need a clean export from the guest, not another auto pass. Skip motion-blurred aftercare selfies. A second auto pass will not invent pores. Relight and reshoot when the only file is a 400 px WhatsApp forward.

When Saturday's grid needs a hero and the healed still still wears a PREVIEW ribbon, clear the stamp, export a square, and post the linework you actually laid.
