Mindbody tiles, Reels covers, and a lobby poster look accidental when every instructor was shot against a different closet — blocks in frame, a heater cord, last year’s banner in the mirror. A rented sweep is ideal. Reality is one phone still between classes. Cut the person; pick one sage
Upload the hero. Isolate hair, tank straps, and mat edges at 100%. Swap to solid sage, sand, or a soft studio gradient — not a busy mural that will fight the class name you add in Canva. Letter “GENTLE 6PM” in the layout, not in the pixels. If a holiday banner is typed in the mirror, that is a text pass after the swap. A mirror full of duplicate heaters is a tighter crop or a new angle, not a paste onto fake serenity.
Spill and files
Tungsten bulbs orange a white tank. Check shoulders before export. Uploads accept JPG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF up to 10MB and 6000×6000 px. A 2400 px JPEG under 4MB typically returns in under 60 seconds. Export a square for Mindbody, 9:16 for Stories, and a wide email header from the same still. Name files `teacher-gentle-clean.jpg` versus `teacher-gentle-as-shot.jpg`. Skip motion-blurred vinyasa peaks. Skip 400 px screenshots of a Zoom class.
Consent and the person on the mat
Only edit stills the studio owns or that teachers cleared for marketing. Members notice when the promo face is not the sub who taught.
